This is a beautiful place in the neighborhood.
Afterwards we visited the Independence, MO visitors center. The kids love the basement displays. They also were showing the Reflections of Christ display. What a wonderful opportunity we have to be able to go visit it.
We visited with some friends in Omaha the first part of August. It was a great little break before school started. We went to our favorite zoo, splash park and the big slides.
Our neighbor Riley came to visit one afternoon, she was disappointed that we do not have any dolls for her to dress up. We were able to appease her by letting her dress up this bunny in Brogan's shirt and diaper and wrap it in a blanket. She returned it a few days later (really we didn't miss it and were glad that it could have a temporary good home). When it did come home, Brogan realized that he too could put it to bed. It was really cute.
