Wow. We had Brogan's 1st birthday party last night. It was such fun to have friends over, let the kids play, eat hot dogs and watch the little people get covered in frosting and cake. It was so much fun to watch Brady help Brogan destroy his cake. Thanks you guys for spending your evening with us. It truly made the night wonderful and not the least bit white and boring.
I even went out at the last minute to buy Brogan an Elmo outfit. People keep asking if Brogan likes Elmo. He doesn't really like anything yet. But I do. We had a Winnie the Pooh party with Christopher, so it was time for Elmo. Since this was more about what I wanted, we went RED.
Brogan loves his puppy, boat, and pillow. And although I know he will like the pants, he really loved the blue bow that David picked out for him and the Bag that Carson and Amaya gave him. At first I put the bow on his head just for cute and to bug him. But after that he kept trying to put it on his head himself.
Brogan has also leaned some neat tricks. One is the very nice Shrieking that he demonstrated when he couldn't get his cake while we were singing Happy Birthday. He does this whenever he wants something.
He also learned how to turn around at the top of the stairs before going down. He has been going down stairs for a while but would always start head first or just stay at the top. Yipee.
